HOW DOES THE POSY POST WORK?

We are a little different to a regular florist. We offer one style of bouquet that changes daily. The posy is available to order until 11:30am for same day delivery, unless sold out prior. We also offer enmasse posies, plants, gift sets, posy subscriptions, gift cards, custom corporate gifting and wedding services.

WHAT IS A DOUBLE / TRIPLE POSY?

A double posy is one big bunch, but twice the amount of flowers as our regular single posies. A triple posy is one big bunch, but triple the amount of flowers as our regular single posies.

HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?

You can place an order for today's posy or market bunch here. (if not sold out)

CAN I ADD AN EXTRA GIFT TO MY ORDER?

Yes, you can order an extra gift when adding your posy, market bunch or plant to your cart, just click on the ‘ADD AN EXTRA GIFT’ and select your gift from the drop down menu. It will be added to your order, ready for checkout.

WHEN DO I NEED TO ORDER BY FOR SAME DAY DELIVERY?

Same day posies need to be ordered by 11:30am that day, unless sold out prior. If posies are sold out on that day you can choose to have your posy delivered on another day.

WHERE DO YOU DELIVER?

We deliver to most suburbs around the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Maitland regions.

WHAT ARE THE DELIVERY TIMES?

Posies are delivered to places of business and commercial addresses between 12:00pm and 5:00pm.

Posies are delivered to residential addresses between 12:00pm and 6:00pm.

Posies are delivered to school addresses between 12:00pm and 3:00pm.

Please note that during our busy periods posies may be delivered prior to 12pm.

CAN I ORDER FOR A FUTURE DATE?

Yes. We always encourage customers to pre-order posies to avoid missing out. You can sign up to our e-newsletter to receive a daily posy alert which offers a sneak peek of the following day's posy and provides the first opportunity to purchase.

WHAT DAYS DO YOU DELIVER?

Delivery days for Newcastle and Lake Macquarie suburbs are Monday through to Saturday.

Delivery days for the Central Coast are Wednesday and Friday only.

Delivery days for Maitland suburbs are Tuesday, Thursday and Friday only.

CAN I PICK UP A POSY?

Absolutely, you can! We're thrilled to announce that our little posy world is now open and we'd love to welcome you!

Our store hours are from 8:30am to 3pm, Monday through to Friday, store is closed Saturday and Sunday, but deliveries are available on Saturday.

Feel free to drop by the store anytime to pick up a posy without pre-ordering, unless it's a busy time of year like Mother's Day. In that case, we'll let you know on our website.

If the posy for the day has sold out, don't worry! We'll have the next day's flowers ready for purchase so you can always enjoy fresh posies, plants, and market bunches whenever you visit us.

You can find us at 7/50 Medcalf Street, Warners Bay, in the little White House next to Clover Car Wash. Come say hello and pick up a beautiful posy today!

WHAT HAPPENS IF I WANT TO SEND A POSY BUT YOU ARE SOLD OUT?

If today's design has sold out, don't worry - we have a solution for you! You can now choose to receive tomorrow's posy design instead, and we'll still deliver it to you today.

We want to make sure you're getting the freshest flowers possible, so if you choose this option, please note that the posy in the picture won't be the one delivered. Instead, you'll receive tomorrow's design.

To ensure timely delivery, please place your order by 11:30am for same-day delivery.

WHAT IS THE PLANT?

Our plant varieties change daily. They are the most lush, leafy plant to create happy homes.

Smaller varieties include a Mr. Kitly Pot. Larger or hanging varieties come gift wrapped.

To view the plant that will be received on the day, please check our website on the morning of delivery.

ARE YOUR PLANTS PET FRIENDLY?

Not all of our plant varieties are pet friendly, for information on pet friendly plants, please visit the RSPCA website. The Posy Post takes no responsibility for what you decide to do with our plants and pets.

WHAT HAPPENS IF NO ONE IS HOME TO ACCEPT DELIVERY?

If no one is home, our delivery driver will leave the posy in a safe place in water, they will also send a text message and a photo of where the order has been left, to the sender.

If there is nowhere safe to leave the delivery, they will call the recipient to see if there is a suitable location for the delivery to be left, if this isn’t an option, the order will be delivered the following day.

WHAT IF THE SUBURB I WOULD LIKE DELIVERY TO IS NOT LISTED?

If your suburb is not listed, unfortunately, we do not deliver there (yet).

DO YOU DELIVER TO THE UNIVERSITY?

Yes, we just require as much information as possible to where the posy recipient will be located.

DO YOU DELIVER TO HOSPITALS?

Yes if they fall with in our delivery areas. We just require as much information as possible to where the posy recipient will be located.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THERE IS HOLIDAYS OR PUBLIC HOLIDAYS?

We are closed on all public holidays. We are also closed over the Christmas and New Years period.

CAN I HAVE MY POSY OR PLANT DELIVERED AT A CERTAIN TIME?

If you wish to have your posy delivered at a specific time, you are able to put in a request in your order form under 'delivery instructions'. While we'll do our best to meet requests, it is not always possible. Once all orders come in for the day our delivery route is structured so we can work out the most efficient delivery route for our drivers.
